Rule Book – Mantora Public School

Welcome to the Rule Book section of Mantora Public School, where discipline meets excellence. At our school, we believe in creating an environment that fosters respect, responsibility, and a sense of community among students, teachers, and parents. This rule book outlines the policies and guidelines that help us maintain this positive and productive atmosphere.


1. General Guidelines

  • Students must attend school in complete uniform, neatly dressed, and with proper grooming.
  • Punctuality is essential; students are required to be on time for assembly and classes.
  • Maintain respect for teachers, staff, peers, and school property at all times.

2. Attendance Policy

  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear for final examinations.
  • Leave of absence must be informed in advance and duly approved by the class teacher or principal.
  • Medical leave must be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate.

3. Code of Conduct

  • Misbehavior, use of foul language, or bullying will not be tolerated.
  • Students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any unauthorized items to school.
  • Respect for school property is mandatory. Any damage caused will be penalized.

4. Academic Integrity

  • Students are expected to complete all homework, projects, and assignments on time.
  • Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty during exams or coursework is strictly prohibited.
  • Participation in all school activities and events is encouraged.

5. Discipline Measures

  • Minor violations will lead to counseling or verbal warnings.
  • Repeated offenses may result in detention, suspension, or expulsion, as deemed appropriate.
  • Parents will be informed promptly about any serious disciplinary action.

6. Uniform Code

  • Boys: White shirt, grey trousers, school tie, black shoes, and socks.
  • Girls: White blouse, grey skirt/salwar, school tie, black shoes, and socks.
  • Sportswear on activity days as per schedule.

7. Health & Safety

  • Students are required to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Avoid bringing expensive items or cash to school to prevent loss.
  • Follow safety protocols during drills, sports activities, and school outings.

8. Parent-Teacher Collaboration

  • Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) are conducted to discuss student progress.
  • Parents are requested to check the school diary daily for updates and important notices.
  • Feedback and suggestions are always welcome to enhance the school environment.
